„Stonerhead let groove your brains tonight“ was founded in May of 2011 as a hobby. After a lot of positive feedback and ...demand it started to function as a label and booking agency with the focus on international underground-bands in the Stonerrock-, Doom-, Sludge- and Psychrockgenre.In simple terms it is about several subtypes of the classic Rock, which is sometimes playful, groovy slow and dragging or totally progressive. A very wide spectrum of sincere and straight music played in best quality. On the internet site we publish newcomer band's-, festival's- or recording reviews from all regions and worldwide, interviews with various artists, live photographs and insider-news several times a week.The concert series “Stonerheadletgrooveyourbrainstonight” takes place Austria-wide in unsteady intervals and gives unknown bands the chance to climb the stage and rock with others.Because of sponsors and other support the organization is able to pay a little fee and this support the bands. The internet site has a lot of visits aswell as the events have a growing attendance. This is how we face up to music commerce, the harassment by radio stations, the brutal media brainwash and try to confront the people with alternative musical possibilities.

The purpose of this blog is to expose & spread all the great, hard to find and (mostly) unknown music, artists, labels,.. in the psych/stoner/doom/sludge/drone/progressive/experimental/rock/blues. universe.
