...strange tunes from outta space...

 SWORD OF TEXAS
EXPERIMENTAL SPACE DOOM

Alone in the heat of the night - with no entertainment other than a 5-string bass, a 4-track recorder, beat software, and an old keyboard leaning up against the wall - Schmoog climbed out of the heavy sludge, waved his way through the thick smoke, and ripped the bong once more. He knocked back a shot of gin and proceeded to declare, "that was smooth," upon exhaling the toke.

From the depths of downtown Hamilton, Ontario, arises a young man with a rightful vengeance against the world. Schmoog Lebowski - founding member of 13 Bags of Dick - pulls you into his control with powerful, sludgy, sometimes-jazzy riffs and dark, disturbing lyrics. The sound of his new solo effort, Swords of Texas, has been described as if the Sex Pistols beat up the Doors and stole their gear, then had a jam session with Frank Zappa. Various contributors have performed live alongside Schmoog in Swords of Texas, however he is the force and mind behind the band. Considering he has engineered and produced music on 8 album releases under the name 13 Bags of Dick, and a Swords of Texas 5-song EP via bandcamp.com as of New's Year Day 2012 - not to mention his witty on-stage banter - it's no wonder why he headlines the shows he performs.
