Burweed is a band from Karhula, Southern Finland. The same area has given birth to numerous metal acts such as Omnium Gatherum, Total Devastation, Domination Black, Demonic Death Judge, Kaihoro and many more. However, musically Burweed dives in the murkier waters introducing atmosphere, violence and ocean-sized melodies to the alternative metal genre.
Burweed is a strong addition to the Finnish post metal scene. On "Eyes Down South" the three-piece has truly found its own, unique voice.
