...lunatic time...

 LUNATIC SPIRIT
DOOM/SLUDGE/STONER
GERMANY

Well... First of all, some known facts. LUNATIC SPIRIT is a 3 headed band from Karlsruhe/Germany. Founded in 2010, the trio started to play Stoner- Doom- Death-Metal sound. On March 22nd 2013, this self titled EP will come out on the label EUCALYPDISC RECORDS

And now this disk turns around in my device... LUNATIC SPIRIT obviously want to show their Death Metal roots with the first track. And, although it´s a face punch in the first moment, the band did a good job to mix the genre skillfully with Stoner- and Doom-Metal Elements.

From the beginning on, i had the feeling, that the voice, which is often used as growling, in the clean moments sometimes sounds like the good old ALICE IN CHAINS and sometimes MONSTER MAGNET. But that´s maybe in my own mind.

My own favorite track on LUNATIC SPIRIT is No. 4 – THE ONLY ONE.
A beautiful mid-tempo played song, which also shows some Guitar Solo parts. It also is the longest track with 9:07 minutes.

The bass on this EP sounds deep and grungy, the guitar and the Drums are smashing good. There are head Bang Parts and even Psychedelic moments. Some kind of old fashioned elements, like a fill in track (No. 6 - NORWICH DOOM) and a Surprise on the last Track, make this piece of Music really be special.

01 Black Spirit 04:37
02 Never Again 05:43
03 Who Knows The Truth 05:02
04 The Only One 09:07

06 Norwich Doom 01:14
07 Bipolarity of Life 05:17
(08 Hidden Track 20:02)

So, at the End, if you like the Style Mix, it is really a good idea to try this one out, and see if it will enter your own Lunatic Spirit :)

...red desert sound...

ALL HAZE RED
Stoner Rock
Germany

ALL HAZE RED is a German rock ´n´roll band influenced by Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath with obvious hints of contemporary groups like Clutch or Grand Magus. The four creative guys blow out a sound around stoner and vintage blues rock. Hippie-alike guitar riffs are barely able to tame the omnipresent rock steamhammer and are going to be blown into the nirvana by vocals swinging between raspy shouts and bluesy hooklines.

"All Haze Red....fuck what a powerful band...heavy fuzz riffing and a biting vocal work...song's like "Into the Sun, No Regrets, Lie to Me" are the absolute engine of this album...this band has a big potential to grow bigger in the future of the modern stoner rock band's. Great refrain's, solo's, nice  albumconcept and a good production. Close your eyes and enjoy!!!"

....it's electric baby...

STONER ROCK
GERMANY

The tank is full, the engine is roaring and the bags are packed. ELECTRO BABY are unstoppable on their roadtrip. Dusty metal-riffs and flying sound-tapestries pioneer their journey towards the psycho-supernova.

After one decade of a sonic roadtrip and with their 5th record the five power packs show once more, that they push their style through without reserve and don't give a ratt's ass about any frontiers of sub-genres. Stoner Rock, Doom Metal, Indie, as well as 70th Psychedelia settled in with ELECTRO BABY and founded an august family.

Live the crowd has to face fat rock-walls, coupled with billowing space-guitars and punchy retro-wave-sounds. Thereby the vocal wonder El Matador feels free to descend to abyssal monsters and is crossing the Himalaya at the same time. With a new label and freshly laundered duds Messieurs Robmaster Flash, Kim Page, Mr. Olli Buster and The Incredible Drumgod prove what they have inside the can and what is the cherry on top.

The addicted listenership of all rock genres can confidently catch the blow of ELECTRO BABY and get some asses kicked!

DOOMSDAY AD:
A spooky and mighty start with a fat bass line and floating drums...the whole song is great and a good first song on the new album "Evilution" my personal favorite song...this voice in this song from El Matador...I would approve it in the rest of album!!!

BAND OF THE DEAD:
A hell of an good hard rock song with a cool chorus in it.
Not mine but especially well and a good song.

HEAD'S WILL ROLL:
Uhhh the start is not that what i prefer but after two minutes the enginee runs warm and kicks ass...the riffs reminds me sometimes on baroness and crowbar...dio scream...ahhhhh!!! A really good song...time to listen it again!

SOMEPLACE QUIET:
Psychy and dreamy beginning and a typical KoRn rhytm...ascending to a hardcore part who is completed by the chorus. Bamm!!!

HELLEVATOR:
Slow and smooh hooks from Electro Baby...here comes the Dio scream again...awesome!!!
Orienal riffing and such an groove...that's what the people like!!!

EVILUTION:
Here comes the title track of the album...i listens intently...really great solo guitar with a lot of licks and hikes...a fitting end for this awesome album.

"All in all a capable album not only for stonerhead's...the spectrum is big so maybe old metalhead's will like the sound of the german dude's with the americanized image...the three B'  governs here...Beer!Bikes and Bitches! Buy their stuff, merch and visit the show's..."
