"This Brooklyn three piece drones and trips their way through psychedelic acid rock based tunes like the old doors or the new Vibravoid. Traveling Circle comes together in a beautiful mash of spaced out influences but also old well-tried riffs like black sabbath with a bit of surf rock influences . Song's like "Forest Floor" are really smooth and have this certain something...also "Note Drops" are a really heavy song...in my opinion they are a better band-instrumental because the vocals sometimes are to conspicuously and drown important parts. On the whole, a wonderful album with plenty of good stuff...enjoy it here and order your own LP here.

Trephine, the full-length from Chapel Hill's MAKE, starts off like a straight-up doom record with opener 'Ancient Tongues' all ominous riffs, thick bass lines and grim vocals that sound more black metal than sludge. However, as the album continues it retains the darkness but adds psychedelic elements to the mix. MAKE may not be a stoner band, but they sure as hell make music to get stoned to.

The entire album is a slow-paced slide through atmospheric sounds of psychedelic doom and is consistently mesmerising, with sounds ranging from crushing doom to swirling, spacey sludge. Best enjoyed at midnight with a fat spliff and a stroll through a forest.

Shock Radar is the experimental art rock project of NY songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and painter Lee J Diamond. He has worked as a session musician for members of The Verve, Stabbing Westward, Small Black and The Slits. After touring and recording for acts like The Feud, Aerial Love Feed/Rockethouse, and Blood City, he is now giving life to his own material as a singer and composer.

The eccentric artistic styling of Shock Radar’s 'Post-Pop' songs are fresh and unique. Born and raised in NY where he worked at several record stores till attending Boston's Berklee College of Music on scholarship, and further studying art and journalism at New School University, Lee J Diamond has climbed his way to the top of the city's music scene, simply doing what he does best, mixing and playing all styles from around the world

Archon is a Brooklyn based doom / sludge metal band having played in
various forms since 2008. Recently, the band completed it's first fulllength record The Ruins at Dusk.
Archon is the brainchild of Andrew Jude, formerly of NYC sludge/doom
heavyweights Agnosis (who broke up in 2006). Having shared the stage
with doom heavyweights such as NYC legends Unearthly Trance, Negative
Reaction, Relapse Records-signees Cough, and Brooklyn brethren Hull
and Batillus, Archon will bring its unique blend of psychedelics, doom
and unrelenting heavy sludge to the masses with the release of TheRuins at Dusk and it's first tour in 2011.The Ruins at Dusk is the product of 2+ years of hard work & the
collaboration of 7 people. The disc blends the atmospherics of
Electric Wizard and Pink Floyd with the epic heaviness of Buried at
Sea and Neurosis while maintaining a melodic sensibility reminiscent
of doom godfathers St. Vitus and Black Sabbath.
