Introducing the misty witches of Mist

Mist
Slovenia
Doom Metal

A 5 piece doom-metal band from Slovenia, Ljubljana formed in 2012.
This all-female line up released their first Demo tape and started to enter the stages in end of september last year.

2 Tracks on this one.

„Phobia“. Hell yeah, the first 2 parts are bringing you the daily dose of 70's proto doom-metal. Really dark atmosphere, groovy flare but also straight impulsive thinking. Uncomfortunately the voice which starts with the 2 riff doesn't fit for me. Probably you should just convince yourself but in my opinion it's a typical case of less would be more. Anyway the riffs are cool, the drums fit and it got some nice grooves in it.

Second song „The living dead“ is definitely the weaker one. The riffs are ok. Not outstanding but still ok. But they lose this 70's character. I don't like it that much but maybe this can turn into some cool stuff soon. I mean the directions are right just the implementation isn't that well yet.
Like i said, convince yourself.

...Cause i know you really want it...

GOYA
DOOM
UNITED STATES
Opoponax Records

You've been waiting a long long time for this to come! If not you just didn't know about your audio orgasm desires yet.
These 3 guys from Phoenix really got it.
For the few who didn't heard about them, they are pretty much comparable to a newborn, created during a neverendless satanic fuck orgy with ritualistic „sleep“ dimensions initiated by the „electric wizard“ his own.
This will and already did produce some fucking big waves in the scene.
„Rites of hash“. The first track. Guitar-starting punch of groove! Pure fuzz-driven pot pleasure.
Great vocals by mastermind Jeff Owens who writes most of the songstructures. Really outstanding mix between extreme powerful riffing and flowing grooves.
„Necromance“. Absolutely wizard-like. Spreading their diabolic movement around human spheres. Goya proving why there was such a huge demand for their first EP. Wah-pedal-burning shadows on stage, they really know how to create a good flow between slow and fast(er) riff-demons.
Oh yeah and then it comes „Night Creeps“. Upcoming from the depths of hell, these i-sold my-soul riffs just punch you in your goddamn face. „Forever dead, forever stoned“. Nothing else to add.
11 minutes of highness framed by a sound that everybody just dreams off.
„Death's Appro“. Another bummer. Getting closer to audio orgasms you'll beg for more while you keep on tripping to this one.
Sticky, filthy amounts of satan-riffs which lead to extraordinary weed desires.
„Blackfire“. Second song you should already know from their first EP.
Fasten your seatbelts folks cause this will kick your ass off.
Get the record, get some dope and booze and get your stoneheads fucked literally.
„Bad Vibes“ for pussy pop. Great last words for a record that surprised me positively like nothing else for some time.
Again: No compromises in here. Just fatness, played on point.
„Fuck you! I know you're gonna die“
I mean does it get any better or could you ask for more...
They give you exactly what you need and that's some fucking heavy stoner doom rock with clouds of green dust which stays in your mind.

"...proud to present the new album of the mighty and industrious black rainbows from Italy, it's called "Holy Moon" and has a lot of  new influences and lots of surprises
to provide. This album contains a perfect concept and from the first song to the last all fits perfectly for me... It's more stoner rock and psych rock than the last releases and comes with a occult touch,
that what I personally feel very sympathetic.

All tracks on this disc are very very capable but my most favourite song's are:
"The Hunter, Black to Comm, Holy Moon and Monster of the Highway"
I'm looking forward to see this guys again on stage with the new material, a must have for every stoner dude or stoner duderina."

Band was established by Weno Winter (vocalist) in 2010 in north Poland.
Kuelmaggah Mysticism will be finished in 3 parts- Kuelmaggah Trilogy in 2013.

Tracklist:

Seed
A exciting enhancement in this song, nice retro elements and a lot of nice melody parts from the guitar, smooth vocals...first song rocks!!! Reminds me on a old FILTER album.

The Blackest Hole

Somber tones, whispering vote and rhythmic percussions...a skit!

Black Hole
Yeah a amp sound like High on Fire and a power vocal like Tool...
Unfortunately... far too short.

Kuelmaggah Pt. 1
Dark and spooky tunes at the beginning, the first part of Kuelmaggah and i will hear more!!

Motheria
A stomping deep riff and dark a atmosphere shape the song for a really good last track.

"SATURNIA has a big potential and i hope the following albums are also heavy like their first strike...great songwriting and the whole concept
of "Kuelmaggah Mysticism: The Prologue" comes very professional. The vocals reminds me on Tool or Priestess and are a little bit monotonous with the time.
Some songs are too short for me and I lack a climax. But overall a great album!!!"

...new crazy shit from the imperator "niko"...

JASTREB
CROATIA
OCCULT KRAUTROCK

Hailing from 13th century, these mystical troubadours failed to destroy the Earth in an apocalyptic event gone horribly awry.
After this failure, making music seemed the only way to get cosmic redemption and women.
By opening a diabolical rift and traveling to the future, they escaped the Catholic inquisition and are now getting ready for a second attempt at the aforementioned apocalyptic event.
