Don Juan Matus
Don Juan Matus is a musical collective formed in December 2005 in Lima, Perú. The band has released 3 full lenght albums and a split 7” in a 4 year span on various labels from Perú, Germany and Japan. Their music combine elements of late 60s psychedelia, early 70s heavy rock, folk, blues, to name a few. Being a studio project, the band has never performed live and has no interest in belonging to a particular scene. Their name was created by anthropologist and writer Carlos Castaneda.
