...bad ass psych!!!

EARLY MAMMAL
LONDON
STONER/PSYCH

Early Mammal started on February 1st 2012 in an old butter factory in Camberwell, South London, called Dropout (London's true home of sludge and noise). Formed by Rob Herian (ex-Elks http://www.heavyplanet.net/2011/10/new-band-to-burn-one-to-elks.html) on guitar and vocals, Ben Davies (ex-85 Bears) on drums, and with the prog-stylings of Turkish born Deniz Belendir on organ and synths, the band spent hours jamming heavy blues, space-rock and psyche with the likes of Captain Beefheart, High Rise, White Hills and Hawkwind on the brain, and in September 2012 finally finished recording their first album, Horror at Pleasure, which is looking for a 2013 release.
It's head-down-rock; it's fuzzed-out and heavy. But there's also something wrong in the story. That's what the last few months have created in Early Mammal and that's what you get. That's what we all get because there's something not right about any of us, anywhere. All our stories are fucked. Early Mammal is coming from somewhere else. It's expected and it's telling you something.

A goat on LSD...

GOAT BONG
USA/TEXAS
INDUSTRIAL DOOM METAL

Goat Bong comes from San Antonio, Texas and they play a mixture of
instrumental occult stoner sludge and doom. I could probably keep
adding to that list but if you enjoy any of those genre tags then you
will probably enjoy this. 'Goat Worship & Sodomy' is their debut 5
track ep being released on Halloween day but available for preview and
digital download on Bandcamp. The album lacks any vocals but instead
offers sound clips at the beginning of most tracks. Normally I am not
one for instrumental tracks and require lyrics but this album is a
refreshing change of pace from that aspect. The tracks encompass a
wide range of influences and genre spanning keeping the music exciting
and interesting as you listen through. Not to mention I am simply a
fan of Goats. Stream the album below and show them some support!"

SAUTRUS
STONER ROCK
POLAND

Band was established by Weno Winter (vocalist) in 2010 in north Poland.
Kuelmaggah Mysticism will be finished in 3 parts- Kuelmaggah Trilogy in 2013.

Tracklist:

Seed
A exciting enhancement in this song, nice retro elements and a lot of nice melody parts from the guitar, smooth vocals...first song rocks!!! Reminds me on a old FILTER album.

The Blackest Hole

Somber tones, whispering vote and rhythmic percussions...a skit!

Black Hole
Yeah a amp sound like High on Fire and a power vocal like Tool...
Unfortunately... far too short.

Kuelmaggah Pt. 1
Dark and spooky tunes at the beginning, the first part of Kuelmaggah and i will hear more!!

Motheria
A stomping deep riff and dark a atmosphere shape the song for a really good last track.

"SATURNIA has a big potential and i hope the following albums are also heavy like their first strike...great songwriting and the whole concept
of "Kuelmaggah Mysticism: The Prologue" comes very professional. The vocals reminds me on Tool or Priestess and are a little bit monotonous with the time.
Some songs are too short for me and I lack a climax. But overall a great album!!!"

...hometown special...

GREY CZAR
STONER ROCK

AUSTRIA

Grey Czar is a four member tinnitus generating monstrosity that derives its doubtful origin from the shadows of the howling cliffs of the austrian alps. What once started as a reason to retain one's youth by repeating one's follies quickly became an unstoppable machine that slaughters every aspect of modern music.

This dudes have shown often that they have big cojones and a hughe fist full of fat sound and great live performance. We booked them two times for a support slot, at first for FJODOR in Juni 2012 and again with KADAVAR in October 2012. Two times a  multiple orgasmic show with great live power.  Their sound is a mix between classical hard rock and a piece of  a nice stoner and fuzz sounds based on heavy blues riffing. Check out their debut album on the following link and like their facebook page!!!

Psychedelic Drone/Space Dark Rock/Doom Ambient

Exhausting & unsettled & underground & introspective stream - To listen only in the dark/wild, high in headphones ; (caring, at night, lying down)

KIJE is elsewhere, nowhere, far outside the world and deep inside the mind, in the unconscious conscious.

KIJE is in the introspective feeling void, just the void ; not in this dirty mark here. KIJE is for nothing, no one.

KIJE goes against everything of this false worldly and isn't for listening to this abject civilization, these people to loathe, despise ; more dead than wretched objects.

GERMANY

FITZCARRALDO ( Jan, Daniel, Matthias, Heiko & Ulrich) are from Aschaffenburg/Germany and they have a big sack full of smooth and atmospheric sounds for us. A high quality post-rock sound and more for all music lovers out there.
They use three Guitars, one Bass, a huge Drumkit, Synthies, Electronic Beats and a lot of pedalboards to create their own wall of sound.

Sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, but always alive.

THE WELL
STONER/DOOM/PSYCH
USA

The official biography from this nice doom/psych trio from Austin,Texas:
Ian's reclusive and despondent, Lisa wears red lipstick, and Jason is the canary in the coal mine.
Hehe... that's simple and also enough what you have to know...it's all about to music.
They have released their  2 track debut 7 on vinyl...i get one exemplar for  promotion, me and my girlfriend are absolutely thrilled from this extremely fucked up sound and the dirty atmosphere of this two song's.
Lisa is not a second Celine Dion but he is a part of a great and unbelivable doom/psych sound...
I think in  near future we can read more about THE WELL and their upcooming material...hopefuly we can see this heel of a band soon live and rare...

BLACK SCIENCE
SPACE ROCK
USA

Black Science’s music is derived from three major sources: personal powers of the soul/mind/body (mesmerism, astral projection, thought-casting, etc.), powers gained by tapping this universe’s ambient magical energy and employing it for specific effects (teleportation, illusion-casting, energy projection), and finally, powers gained through the tapping of extra-dimensional energy by invoking entities or objects of power dwelling in mystical dimensions, tangential to our own. The latter means of power is usually gained by the recitation of spells; either ritualized ones found in various mystic texts or by original spells invoking extra-dimensional assistance.

MOTHERBRAIN
STONER ROCK
GERMANY

I's a long story about MOTHERBRAIN...after a lot bandmember change's they are a mixed band with  a small part of Austria and and a bigger one from Berlin. This four dude's know how to rock and prove that on their hot 10 track album named "COSMIC FUCK"...song's like "Suck me in, Penetration Poetry or Beta" rock's totally and remind's sometimes on Queens of the Stone Age or a old Monster Magnet album.
MOTHERBRAIN have potential and also the sound quality on the album is good but the album cover...hmmmm i don't know...is just my personal opinion but
with a more serious concept the whole would be more interesting for me.
But it's ok and i really enjoy this album...so kick back and stretch your sack because here is MOTHERBRAIN!!!

...purple smoke...

PSYCH ROCK
MONTREAL
MOSHPIT TRAGEDY

Sometime in June of 2012, Seb Painchaud (member of The Last Felony, former member of Ion Dissonance, Nefastus Dies & Vatican) decided to indulge in the greeny goodness for the first time in years. Never one to do anything half way, in a few hours a three and half was turned into smoke and the inspiration hit him. He decided to write and record right then and there on his home studio some tracks inspired by bands like Earth & Horseback. 3 songs were created that night and the following night he went at it again, creating two more songs, this time incorporating post-rock and math-rock influences.

A few weeks went by, and the inspiration hit again and Seb, who had now returned to his old chronic self of yore, wrote and recorded a few more songs. All these songs were rough demos with simple drum loops and never meant for public consumption, but when he wrote and recorded Death Rides Southwards, he knew he had something. He knew he had found his sound. In another drug filled evening with good friend and fellow The Last Felony band member Felix Roberge we’re rocking the tracks and decided to combine their efforts, and Felix would take over drum programming and supervise Seb’s hectic and drug laden recording sessions.

Out of this collaboration came the Death Rides Southwards EP that was distributed for free on line to get the band’s name out there. Now the band is in the midst of recording its first full length album, entitled Dirt, in their home studio, and plans to release it and start hitting the stage in early 2013. The band has recruited Vincent Houde of Dopethrone as their drummer for both live shows and studio, and swear to keep drum tracks as is and avoid the over-editing that is plaguing the music scene these days.

"Slowly drive the sounds through my ears of Tumbleweed dealer...
what a pleasant sound with a lot of smooth sounds and progressive parts and rhythms.
A music to relax and unwind...i think it's  a mix between the old Desert Session's and a kind of spooky Brant Bjork...
Enjoy!!!"
