 Reversed Nature
Greece
Space/Psychedelic Rock

They started in the year 2007 with a different name "Natural High" but they had to change it due to synonymy with other bands. As "Natural High" they have done a few shows and released a split ep together with Earth of distrust and Ism of Karawan and a demo called "Sadness Madness".As Reversed Nature they have done more shows on local clubs in Athens and one openign act for Khuda, they have released two LPs "Nature Reversed" on 2009 and "Junkie for a guide" on 2011. All what they make is self financed and self released. So please buy also their stuff and merch and visit some live shows...

...interview with "the danny trejo of doom"...

EL TOPO ARMETTA

1. How did you earn your nickname EL TOPO (mole/Maulwurf)?

IT' BEING GIVEN BY MY COUSIN SINCE THE INFAMOUS LATE FIFTIES B CLASS MOVIE THE MOLE MEN :
I REALLY DIG THAT FILM. IT SET MY MIND IN A VERY PESSIMISTIC AND ARTISTIC WAY I SAW WHEN I WAS ABOUT 8 THOSE DOWN UNDER IMAGES CHANGED MY LIFE … NOT ONLY FOR GOOD I REALIZED THERE THE IDEA OF DEATH POSSESION AND SEX!!

2. How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

SWEET LEAF, THE HAND OF DOOM, DAMAGED, MY WAR

3. Which bands or musicians had the most influence in what you stand for today?

FLAG SABBATH!

4. Do you remember your first concert?

IT WAS 1986 WITH MY H,C BAND OF THAT TIME MASSACRE PALESTINA. LOTS OF SKATEBOARDS DISTURBING THE HORRID PEACE OF STAGE. I WAS 18 AND I HAD ALREADY MY MISFITS TATTOO…THE ONE AND ONLY.

5. What was your first tattoo?

THE FIRST WAS A HAND MADE SWASTICA I COVERED LATER BY A GIRLFRIEND WITH VERY BAD PULSE UNSHARP NEEDLE AND A VERY BAD PUNK ROCK ATTITUDE…

6.Which bands/records/songs do you like the most in the current stonerrock scene?

IS NOT EASY TO CHOOSE A FEW…OF CURSE CATHEDRAL, AND ELECTRIC WIZARD
BUT I REALLY RESPECT RISE ABOVE AND SMALL STONE AND ELECTRIC EARTH AND BLACK WIDOW COOL RECORD LABELS THAT OFTEN OFFER MUSIC I ENJOY

7. In the year of 2000 you recorded a split with LOS NATAS and also went on tour with them. Do you think you will rock with Los Natas again someday?

WE KNOW EACHOTHER SINCE KIDS. IT IS VERY POSIBLE….

8. Which of the 5 records and one demotape that Dragonauta released do you like the most. With which one can you identify yourself the most?

DRAGONAUTA IS ALL GOOD.EVEN BETTER WITHOUT ME... I LIKE CABRAMACABRA THE MOST. WE ARE SO THE SAME THAT IS NO HARD TO COME ALONG… FEDERICO FORMER FRONTMAN KINDA GOT ME IN. HE USUALLY SINGS IN OUR MISAS NEGRAS! THERE S NO EGO ONLY LOVE FOR DOOM AND THE OCCULT!

9. Can we expect some new material of Dragonauta in near future? Do you plan to start a new project?

WE DRAGONAUTA RECORDED OUR NEW ALBUM. BEFORE THE WORLD ENDS IT WILL BE OUT! “CREATRUENOS” KILL ER RIFFEAGE AND SPEED WILL BLOW YOUR EARS OFF. IM ALSO ABOUT TO GO TOUR WITH CABROCORDERO DUET AND ALTAR TO BRAZIL CABRO I PRODUCED LAST 2011 RECORD ((Namastie Qoh.)) ALTAR I WILL SOON! BESIDES THERES ONE OR TWO DRONE PROJECTS IM IN AND WE ALL HOPE TOUR EUROPE AND THE MOON AND SATURN ASWELL…

10. Between Natas and Dragonauta you have beEn in bands like Cuerno, Eight Hands For Kali, Taunus and Solodolor. Which time was the most important for your developement as a musician?

IM A MUSICIAN SINCE EVER….I AND I GUESS BEING A MUSICIANS BASTARD THAT IS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT TIME WITH ALL THE GUITARS AND AMPS AND BOOZE MY DAD LEFT AROUND IT WASNT HARD TO CHOOSE A PATH…

11. "Religion, Satan and Weed" are often used keywords in your lyrics. Why do you think is that? What is your opinion on religion?

RELIGION SUCKS , SATAN IS SLIGHTLY MORE ATTRACTIVE THAN SAINT PETER OR THE POPE ITSELF IF I HAVE TO TALK ON …. WEED IS SO OBVIUOS THAT IS KIND OF EMBARASSING TO RECOGNIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF IT ON OUR LIFE BUT…!I SMOKE POT TO FORGET RELIGION AND TO WORSHIP SATAN AT LEAST JAJAJAJA!

12. The global finance-sitiuation is chaotic, politics are corrupt and economy goes up and down like an elevator. What would you do to change the world (to a better one?) if you could?

CHANGE? WE ARE ALL DOOMED!
I COULD DO ONE ONE SOUNDTRACK OF THE LAST DAYS OF HUMANS ON EARTH

13.Anything left you ever wanted to tell all those stonerheads out there but never been a...

LISTEN TO DRAGONAUTA, CABROCORDERO AND ALTAR!

 BITCHO
DOOM

Hailing from the southern Lowlands, this Dutch 6-piece is out to make the universe trip on their hypnotic, droning and monotonous grooves. Using three bassguitars to pile up low, distorted frequencies as rarely heard these days, analog soundscapes, subsonic drums and intoxicated vocals.

...it's done...

Baby Woodrose have just finished recording their 6th studio album entitled Third Eye Surgery and release is set for April 16th. All Baby Woodrose albums have a different vibe and with Third Eye Surgery they have made their space rock album. For the first time Lorenzo Woodrose integrate the heavy psych of his side projects Dragontears and Spids Nøgenhat with the fine song writing of Baby Woodrose.

No matter how much the fuzz guitar is wailing or the echo machine is tripping, there’s always a good song hiding beneath the rumble. Several of them clocks in at 6 minutes so there are only 9 songs on Third Eye Surgery. Songs like Nothing is Real and Love Like a Flower have an Eastern flavour thanks to the sitar of Vicki Singh while Just a Ride sounds like a trip to India in more than one way.

Even though the central songs on Third Eye Surgery like Waiting for the War, Bullshit Detector and the title song are very spaced out there are also a few tunes that sticks out. Dandelion is a sweet and melancholic psychedelic pop song and is also a duet with Emma Acs while Honalie is a dreamy ballad that makes time stand still. Almost.

Third Eye Surgery has been recorded in the Black Tornado studio in Copenhagen and is engineered by Anders “Evil Jebus” Onsberg and produced by Lorenzo Woodrose. The artwork is made by German artist Kiryk Drewinski who has worked with the band several times before and also did the artwork for the demo collection Mindblowing Seeds and Disconnected Flowers released in 2011. LP is gatefold as usual.

 Truckfighters The Movie
from Joerg Steineck

This documentation takes you on a hard rockin', funny and well filmed trip threw Europe (Örebro, Berlin - Stoned in Berlin vol.2 - Graveyard, Witchcraft, Truckfighters,/ Hamburg - Glockenschlagfestival) with the one and only TRUCKFIGHTERS.

But also on a trip threw the family lifes, the half-time-jobs, recording and issues of band members.
Also the story of their support of legendary FU MANCHU is told and there are a lot of high quality live-recordings contained. All that mixed with an very urban and modern way of making a documentation, not to forget the professional and entertaining illustrations as well as the fact that Dango sounds like kermint the frog.

" TRUCK " {vehicle},
" FIGHTERS " {people who optionally lose but intend to win}
"8.2 IMBD RATING"

Although we think the focus on the music could be even bigger, this movie is a real masterpiece. Or maybe it's just because of the fact that this movie looks like fucking tarentino himself had directed it. Anyway, 10 out of 10 "offended Josh Hommes" to a guy called Joerg Steineck!

And let us know what you think!

"A really great Action Horror Porno with a lot of Fuzz...you can feel like a part of the band and have some emotional times with them...Screenstyle like a Grindhouse production with a lot of funny stuff and verbal shit...a movie for the whole family..."

BANDA DE LA MUERTE
ARGENTINA
STONER ROCK

Banda de la Muerte is an independent band from Argentina, part of the steadily gathering
strength South American Sludge movement. They're playing a blend of stoner, rock and
hardcore punk traits, influenced by the music of the 90's.

“In late 2008 the quartet conquered the stage with the force of their disgruntled riffs, base that
sounds like it’s drawn from the city rubble, chopping and crushing your guts and provoking
furious headbanging. Far from any label, Banda de la Muerte start their own tour de force
and are doing it with ease”
“Playing each note with reckless abandon, the band tears it up with its Latin flair and pushes
the boundaries of metal. Stoner rock grooves seep through the harrowing fist of doom as
hardcore punk attitude uppercuts you in the jaw.”

"This guys have a big influence of bands like...Natas, Los Natas, Buffalo, Condor or Hielo Negro.
With their great groovy riffs and the awesome language its simply not the same...they have created their own sound and that can you feel. Put the volume to the max and rock with BANDA DE LA MUERTE...because its good for you"

BALERO
Stoner Rock
Balero is a heavy rock, instrumental 3 piece from Wyoming Valley, Pennsylvania

Here’s the lowdown, BALERO got together in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 2002 with all members having the same goal in mind, to play the music that we love for the people who love this kind of music. We’re not out to reinvent the wheel just to rock the jams that we like to play in our own style. We are currently a three piece in search of a singer to take our music to the next level. A singer can make your band ten times better or ten times worse and we’re waiting for the better. We know what we’re looking for and we’re not going to settle for less! So we just continue to jam and write new material and hopefully the right singer will hop on the BALERO EXPRESS.

Parasol Caravan /Cachimbo de Paz Split
USE THE FUZZ
Mushcream Booking
Cover Art by Johan Jacob
 PARASOL CARAVAN

Parasol Caravan crank their amps up to 11 and play heavy rock with stoner and psychedelic elements. They are a dirty soundbastard between Black Stone Cherry and Kyuss with never ending groove, fat guitar riffs that have no mercy with your neck and incredible whiskey soaked vocals that get under your skin.

Since the end of 2009 the four piece is rocking as many stages as possible and honoring their idols of the past without losing touch with the modern rock scene.

CACHIMBO DE PAZ

Fat, fuzzy guitars, a dark voice, bass lines that give you a solar plexus massage and drums that don’t even give you a chance to resist following the groove…

Cachimbo de Paz completely committed themselves to the high arts of the low tones – and the endless struggle against gravity. Stoner Rock may be seen as the foundation – but there are no limitations to the music – so their music is like a psychedelic trip through the desert, into outer space and across the borders of perception… with the fuzz as their ally.

DEAD
Sludge/Noise/Punk

Jem and Jace are DEAD. They are awesome. Most bands are awful but not DEAD, they’re awesome. It’s spelled in capitals ‘cos there are only four letters and you have to make them count.
There are 8,000,000 bands in the world and if you managed to discover this one in that great big pile of mediocrity you have done very well for yourself. Read on to discover just how well.
Most people don’t “get” DEAD, but then most people are idiots. Actually, most people would not even have a clue who DEAD are. But even if they did, they would not “get it.” What a bunch of losers man! They are missing out.

It’s 2012 and you don’t need to be told what the band sound like. The internet can tell you that. You don’t even have to buy the record when it comes out. You can just download it and say that you own it. The important thing is that they look incredible.

DEAD make their own merch and run their own label (WeEmptyRooms). You can get specially made DEAD T-shirts, hoodies, patches, tea towels, undies, pillow cases and even more. Because you’re not a real punk band unless you got stuff to sell with your name on it.

And DEAD are TOTALLY a punk band!
